The Importance of DNA
DNA EVIDENCE CONVICTS RAPISTS and must be collected within 48 hours
What is DNA?
It is the material found in cells that determines characteristics such as eye, hair and skin color. Every person’s DNA is specific to only them. This is the reason why DNA can be used to identify the perpetrator and why it is so important not to bath or clean after you have been raped.
Types of DNA which may contain evidence:
- Blood
