WHAT ARE YOU DOING ON MANDELA DAY?
Volunteer Needs at the Epic Foundation: Make a difference in the life of a rape survivor – come join us in packing comfort packs. These packs are used during the initial reporting phases at police stations and hospitals. To you it might just be a bag with items of toiletries...... for a survivor at a point where they feel at their lowest and most vulnerable, receiving a bag with comfort items has a huge impact in the healing process!

Making up comfort packs at your Company: If you want to get your staff involved with the project on your company premises on the day, let us know and we will forward details to you to help get the project started, and we will provide guidance on how to arrange the packing.
Goods donations for the Epic Foundation: If you cannot join us on the day, you can also contribute items towards our project. We make up these packs for men, women and children. Below is a combined list of the various items we need. Body lotion, Bottled water, Brown paper bags, Chips/snacks, Colouring in books, Colouring in crayons/pencils, Cool drink, Deodorant, Face cloth, Hair comb/brush, Hair elastics and clips, Lip balm, Pen/pencil, Plasters, Sanitary towels, Shampoo, Small notebook, Soap, Soft toys, Surgical gloves, Sweets, Tissues, Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Underwear for women, men and children, Vaseline, Wet wipes.
BIG THINGS TO DONATE: Computers, Bar fridge, Gas heaters, large bins with wheels to store our empty bags
#90Days2015 - Music and Cause Unite
For the 2nd year in a row SA Singer/Songwriter Natalie Chapman is performing across South Africa with her message of Hope for Survivors of Violent and Sexual Crimes. Her Objective: To encourage survivors to speak out and to motivate communities to support survivors and break the silence. Natalie carries the flag for Epic Foundation.
